Previously called T B & H Pendock, our Hambrook funeral home can be found at The Poplars, on the junction of the Bristol Road (B4058) and the A4174. Our proximity to Bristol means we can serve not only our village, but also the nearby areas of the city, such as Downend, Lockleaze and Eastville. We also serve the surrounding villages of South Gloucestershire, including Frenchay and Stoke Gifford.

Our funeral services
We offer the choice of three funeral options. The Attended Funeral, which you can tailor to however you wish to say goodbye to your loved one; the Unattended Funeral, which provides a dignified cremation, but without a service or mourners; and The Bristol Funeral, which also offers an unattended cremation but with a service held at one of the beautiful venues available in our Silver, Gold and Platinum packages.

Very supportive and helpful with an unknown process at a difficult time. More clarity on deadlines to submit information would have been useful. Make people aware that they can contact you and arrange a date for the funeral before the death certificate is issued.

From the moment my Mum, Mary passed away the funeral directors staff of R Davies were very efficient and were so kind to me and my family in first collecting my Mum so quickly and Holly gave so much thought and gave a quality service in every step of organising the funeral arrangements. The caring and personal service provided by R Davies - in particular Holly and Shaun- was excellent from start to finish. R Davies took care of all funeral arrangements and made sure the process was clear and frictionless. Holly was quickly on hand if needed and Shaun made sure on the day that the funeral was dignified and ran smoothly. We could not ask for any more. Having used R Davies just over a year ago for father's funeral we knew we were in excellent hands for mother's funeral. They made an emotional time easier to bear and the process as simple as possible. Everyone involved handled all steps with professionalism and care. I can not recommended them highly enough.

Compassion respect and of course Dignity says it all. We felt Mum was in safe hands all the way, the same with Dad's four years ago. Your staff are amazing. The team at Hambrook could not have been more helpful or professional when arranging the funeral of my late uncle, he had taken out a funeral plan which helped a lot but any problems were dealt with very quickly by Sophie and always put my mind at rest. On the day of the funeral I felt like Shaun was looking after me and the rest of the family and nothing was too much trouble, Shaun made sure the service ran smoothly with Sally the celebrant and did not rush off after the service but waited to make sure all was well. When my mother died in April 19 the name over the door was T B & H Pendock but when my father sadly passed away in February 22 the name over the door may have changed but the staff greeted me with the same compassion and kindness as before. Shaun and his team were very professional and caring and tried to accommodate our every request, even the unusual music for my father, so everything could go smoothly and dad got a good "send off". A company that was highly recommended to me. They were caring and helpful during an emotional and difficult time. Everything clearly explained and absolutely no rush. Always had time for any questions leading up to funeral. The day of the funeral was every bith respectful and professional. They made everything straightforward and personalised. From informing Dignity that my mother had passed away, the funeral directors called and helped me through the process,what was included and what was extra. Helped me sort out a live broadcast due to family living overseas. Everthing went smoothly on the day and the family could watch for the USA.
